Inspired by the flowing green copper glazes traditionally seen in Agano ware, this tumbler explores the idea of "flowing vessels"—where glaze is encouraged to move freely across the surface during firing.

A specially formulated straw white glaze, designed to melt more readily in the kiln, is paired with the deep Blackware glaze. Where the two glazes meet, subtle blue tones emerge, while the straw white glaze cascades dramatically down the tumbler, revealing the chemistry and movement that occur during firing.
