Furin Glass Wind Bells

Furin - Japanese for wind bells - is a glass craft that dates back 200+ years and its chime is said to have cooling effects during the hot summer months. Nowadays, they are seen and heard everywhere in summer time Japan. 

This handblown furin has been carefully crafted to create its distinct sound by using crystal glass for the zetsu - or clapper - with fine grooves. Hang it by a window or entryway - indoors or outdoors - to enjoy the peaceful acoustics and mesmerizing visuals. 

Each color represents the beauty of the natural world:
Blue = sunny skies of summer
Orange = warm radiance of a sunset
Pink = blooming cherry blossoms
White = purity of fresh snow
